Russia, Iran and Turkey summit on Syrian settlement starts in Tehran

The 7th trilateral summit of Iran, Turkey and Russia, known as the Astana format, started in Tehran, Mehr reported.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in Iran, met separately with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Iranian spiritual leader Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei.

This was followed by a bilateral meeting between the presidents of Russia and Turkey, during which the sides discussed the Karabakh problem and the Syrian settlement.
